Yep, it’s true, you don’t have to learn how to create! You are already doing it—It’s part of being human. But the thing is, there are two very different ways that you could be creating your reality.
1. Most people create their reality UNCONSCIOUSLY by allowing the core beliefs formed in childhood to dictate how they think, what they feel, and often who they think they are. Our identity is formed during those formative years and most people never question it.
2 .The other way is to CONSCIOUSLY create it
Just by looking at a thing, by giving a thing your attention, you are creating. Theres no way to stop this process. Even if you locked yourself up in your room and remained bedridden for the rest of your life, you are STILL creating. You are creating the extreme situation that would cause you to choose such a thing.
Did you know that when you re-live an experience you are actually recreating it in your mind each time? Your unconscious doesn’t know the difference when it comes to FEELING whether you are remembering or not. It takes it in as if it is actually still happening. You are re-creating what happened in the past as a part of your now, making it real NOW.
When we experience trauma, especially in childhood, this creates a core belief system based on that trauma and this is why many people find themselves in the same situations over and over again.
Consciously creating is about stepping into your power regardless of what has happened in the past, regardless of the choices you may have made or that may have been made for you.
At any moment in your life, ANY moment, you can choose to CONSCIOUSLY create. You can choose to begin the journey of consciously creating the life you truly desire, even if you think it’s impossible. Remember, by giving that “it’s not possible” thought your attention, you are making it true in your unconscious. You are essentially creating it as your reality by focusing on it.
Here are a few things you can start doing right now:
1. RETRACT. Retract your attention from all undesirable thoughts! Refuse to give them your attention (this is not the same as blocking). Part of the retraction process is to simply allow whatever thought that comes up, to come up and then leave. You can imagine dispersing it, see it move through and away from you, throw it into a blue flame, scream into a pillow, or imagine it as an image and shrink it! Whatever works or you.
2. NO JUDGEMENT. The no judgment part is key here. Without judgement there can be no emotional response and without the emotional response our mind and body will begin to naturally let that thing go. There’s no trigger when there is no emotion attached. The reason certain thoughts that keep us stuck keep coming back is because there is an emotional trigger and that trigger is usually tied to a judgement.
3. FOCUS. Focus your attention on that which you desire to bring into your reality now. This begins to bring your imagination, your unconscious into alignment with your conscious mind. This is usually not very easy, in fact it could be one of the most difficult things you have ever done! This requires self discipline and a certain amount of grit and determination, but you CAN do it.
The controlled imagination truly IS your savior.
Whether you choose go about it on your own, or you choose to seek out a guide, choose this day to consciously create your life. Say it out loud! Make that decision and things will begin to fall into place. That’s a promise from the Universe.
